Letter: Leave the desert monolith standing

Regarding the newly discovered monolith in San Juan County, I would promote keeping it in place. It should be embraced rather than rejected.It is unique, simple and beautiful. It also is a nice contrast with the redrock environment, and its satin finish reflects the surrounding area.Its mystery adds another element to this story.
