Letter: Kirby’s column on titles is illogical and shallow

Robert Kirby’s column on “actual doctors” was illogical and shallow.  He went to an orthopedic surgeon and went on to criticize the use of the title “doctor” by those outside of medicine.  His argument fails for at least three reasons.First, I would not go to a family physician for complicated hand surgery.  Not all doctors of medicine have equal training!
