Letter: How is being gay newsworthy?

How is anyone revealing they are gay newsworthy?To me this is about as interesting as someone announcing they suddenly realize they like liver and onions.I don’t care, it is none of my business and I wish the media would just let people be when it comes to this issue.That includes me.
