Letter: Get out and vote — or run for office

As I read Kim Thomson's letter on Feb. 14, I could feel her demoralization in regards to the decimation of Props 2 and 3 by our sanctimonious legislators, and understand her conclusion that our votes do not matter.I, however, want to offer an alternative view. Our current legislators are in this powerful position because we voted them in, and can be gone when we vote them out. Now, more than ever, it is time for us to become an informed and active electorate.The complexion of our legislative bod
