Letter: Don’t change Dixie State’s name

The pressure is upon us once again to remove the name of Dixie from some of our longtime mainstays, this time from Dixie State University. Are we considering all the people who have attended and graduated from DSU?This would be like forsaking all of the history of St. George and the entire area we know as Utah’s Dixie.
