Letter: Don’t a shake a woman’s hand unless she offers it

In these times with all the news of men forcing themselves upon women, there is a simple rule of courtesy and etiquette that seems to have been lost.My mother taught me that a man should never reach for or shake a woman’s hand unless she offers it. This is especially lost on Mormon men who have a propensity of constantly pumping hands. Men should not thrust their hand out, making a woman feel uncomfortable and obligated to take it. It is rude and discourteous.Women do not like unwanted tou
