Letter: Combat voting misinformation

This morning I had a newly registered-to-vote 18-year-old neighbor ask me if you had to be registered Republican for your vote to count in Utah. She had obviously heard that from somewhere and was going to look into changing her affiliation. I wonder where that misinformation is coming from. It is misinformation, right?Anyone with questions regarding their voter registration in any state can call 866-OUR-VOTE. It’s manned by trained law students and attorneys who supervise them.Beth Charda
