Letter: Bigotry should not be allowed to hide behind religion

I believe in freedom “of” religion. All are free to worship whomever or whatever they choose, in their own environment: Home, church, synagogue, mosque, temple, etc.I also believe in freedom “from” religion. People cannot use their beliefs as a shield to protect their bigotry and prejudices from those who do not agree with them. The public should not have to tolerate others’ intolerance.Glen V.
