In the Feb. 21 Public Forum, Kermit Heid posited that electric-car drivers may not know that the electricity they use to power their cars comes from coal-fired generating plants operating at 30 percent efficiency.I can guess, too, that Heid may not know that he is a Republican, and that he would never blame our air pollution on the coal-fired plants around Utah.
