Lawmakers eye borrowing $500 million to push road projects forward

Utah lawmakers on Wednesday discussed the possibility of borrowing $500 million through bonding to keep transportation projects on track that might otherwise be slowed during the pandemic and to take advantage of low interest rates.“We’re thinking possibly a bond might be helpful in moving some of the transportation projects along,” said Rep.
