Interstate 15 reopens 9 hours after rig hauling butane overturns

Lehi • A tractor-trailer rig carrying butane was leaking the flammable gas from a leaking tank after overturning on a Utah freeway Saturday morning, causing evacuations in the area.The Utah Highway Patrol said the double-trailer rig overturned on northbound Interstate 15 in Lehi and that the freeway was closed in both directions around 11 a.m. as a precaution pending cleanup.
