Taylorsville • The Herriman High softball team won the 6A softball championship Thursday with a resounding 9-3 win over Layton at Norma Carr Field on Salt Lake City Community College’s Taylorsville campus.Herriman used a six-run third inning to beak the game open after trailing 1-0.
