Gov. Herbert signs another 44 bills, including a $1.7M fee break for EnergySolutions

Utah’s governor has agreed with legislators in deciding that EnergySolutions, the low-level radioactive waste disposal company, needs a $1.7 million break on the regulatory state fees it has been paying.
Gov. Gary Herbert signed HB169 on Wednesday, his office said in a Thursday press release. The release provided no explanation or commentary on this or any of the other 43 bills Herbert signed.The Tribune has requested a comment from the governor’s office.
