Get up close and personal with owls at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge event

Though owls are legendary in books, movies and mythology, getting a live and up-close look at these nocturnal creatures can be a challenge.But those who participate in the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge’s annual Owl Day event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will get a chance to see owls up close and personal and learn about their natural history.The Ogden Nature Center and its experts will have a live owl with them from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the James V.
