From her home in Kearns, a young Jerica Tandiman could look out and see the Olympic skating oval. When the Olympic torch passed through her neighborhood, she went to the local high school to get a glimpse of it. When the Games started, the field next to her home filled with cars, a temporary parking lot for spectators from around the globe.And when the world had come and gone from Salt Lake City, Tandiman finally went inside the venue for the first time, changing the course of her young life.&ld
