A wildfire in Box Elder County has claimed an estimated 200 acres and is still growing, according to authorities.Dubbed the “Messix Fire,” a play on Messix Peak, which is the highpoint of the Promontory Mountain Range, the blaze remains under investigation.Per Utah Fire Info, crews began responding to the fire early Sunday morning as it threatened structures in the old town of Promontory, roughly 70 miles northwest of Salt Lake City.The Tribune will update this story.
