Crews completely contain La Verkin Hill fire

After slow progress had been made on the La Verkin Hill fire, , things took a turn by Wednesday midday.By 11:30 a.m., the fire — which started Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. about a half-mile east of La Verkin in Washington Count — was 100% contained. And updated mapping showed a more accurate size of 150 acres.
