Commentary: Know something about the candidates before you vote

Do you really know who is on your ballot asking for your vote? Do you know what issues are important to this person and how he/she behaves toward others? I have spent many hours at the Utah Legislature in 2018 and I implore all voters to know something about the candidates for office, the bills they sponsor and their behaviors prior to casting your vote for them this season. In my opinion, legislators should be seeking what benefits a majority of citizens, not just adhering to a political ideolo
