Cellphone issues hindering 911 in Utah have been resolved

Network connectivity issues that had obstructed Utah cellphone users’ access to 911 this weekend were resolved for all the affected communities by Sunday afternoon.The problems centered on Salt Lake, Davis, Summit and Washington counties. Provo police also reported issues.Some authorities initially pointed to a Verizon power outage causing the issues but later said the issues affected users with other cellphone providers.Earlier this weekend, those in Salt Lake City and Sandy could call 80
