Altamont squeezes past North Summit for 2A state wrestling title

Altamont has just enough in the end to capture the Class 2A state wrestling team title Saturday.The Longhorns scored 244 points to 240 for North Summit at the Sevier Valley Center.North Summit’s Eduardo Rodriguez pinned Altamont’s Mac Thacker for the 285-pound state title in the last match of the meet, but Altamont’s lead was just big enough.
