A former Richmond mayor was killed Thursday when he became distracted while walking his dog and stepped into the street in front a car.Marvin A. Traveller, 89, was hit about 7:45 a.m. on Main Street at 400 West in Richmond, according to Utah Highway Patrol.A Richmond city employee confirmed the victim was the former mayor.
