2 are killed when experimental plane crashes in central Utah

An experimental plane crashed Monday in Sanpete County, killing two men.The Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting the downed plane at 5:11 p.m. According to a Facebook post by the department, the “small, glider-type craft” went down approximately four miles northeast of Ephraim City, and the men onboard — whose names have not been released — were dead when rescue teams arrived.The plane had taken off from the Nephi airport and was enroute to
