Paolini becomes 1st Italian woman in Miami semis

Jasmine Paolini, the No. 6 seed who defeated unseeded Magda Linette of Poland 6-3, 6-2 on Tuesday, became the first Italian woman to make the semifinals of the Miami Open, and she will next face either top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka or No. 9 Qinwen Zheng.
