Sunday River, Maine Announces Opening Day

Not to be outdone by Killington, Sunday River, Maine, announced today that it, too, will open tomorrow, November 14, 2024.The season starts at 9 a.m. on Locke Mountain, with service provided by the Locke Triple out of the Barker Basin. Skiing will be available on T2. Sunday River doesn’t plan to groom this run, so the resort highly recommends that only expert skiers and snowboarders attend opening day tomorrow.
