Steamboat Springs Has So Much Snow This Year They Don't Know Where to Put It

Heavy snowfall is the holy grail of skiing. We skiers chase it, attempt to predict it, and miss it when it doesn't show up. This obsessive relationship with winter storms assumes that there's no such thing as too much powder. Yet, this year, this assumption might be wrong for the residents of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. According to CBS, Steamboat normally receives 60 to 70 thousand yards of snow during winter. This season, though, which isn't over yet, they've already received 80 thousand
