Ski Resort Closes Due To 'Translucent Precipitation'
Craigieburn Valley Ski Area, located on New Zealand's South Island, announced that they would not open on September 6th, 2023, to preserve snow as "translucent precipitation and high winds" batter the region.One can assume that "translucent precipitation" is a fancy way of saying "rain".
