Professional skier Owen Leeper spends much of his time in the backcountry near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming.As any responsible skier would, Leeper always carries a beacon, probe, and shovel when venturing out past resort boundary lines.Leeper created the video below to demonstrate how to ski cut a slope. The idea is that a hard turn, or 'cut', will release loose snow that could cause problems.
