One Killed by 500' Wide Avalanche in Alaska
A teenage snowmobiler was caught and killed by an avalanche on the backside of Seattle Ridge at Turnagain Pass, Alaska, on Saturday, according to local authorities and news reports.A press release from Alaska State Troopers said the deceased snowmobiler was a 16-year-old from Soldotna, Alaska.
