New Ski Ballet Competition Announced at Colorado Ski Area

A Colorado ski area is bringing back ski ballet. Monarch Mountain is hosting its inaugural ski ballet competition this spring.
While the discipline largely lost popularity after its appearance in the 1992 Winter Olympic games due to the rise of other disciplines, recently it has begun to make a comeback. The 1st Annual Ski Ballet on Freeway event will take place on April 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. on the Freeway trail at Monarch.
