New Paid Parking Blasted at Semi-Private Ski Resort

Powder Mountain, Utah, has revealed further details of its paid parking program for this winter. Based on the social media reaction, local skiers and snowboarders are unhappy with the new plan.The resort will now charge to park based on the number of occupants in a vehicle. If you arrive with three or more passengers, parking is free. If not, parking costs $12. Parking Monday through Friday is free. So is parking after 1 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
