Nevada Ski Area Shares Encouraging Fire Update

A few days ago, things weren’t looking great for Sky Tavern, Nevada, a ski area popular among Reno residents. It faced the Davis Fire, which has caused several evacuation orders and burned over 5,000 acres. On Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a rare “Particularly Dangerous Situation” warning for Wednesday and cautioned that the Davis Fire could experience rapid growth.
