Man Skis Almost Non-Stop for 71 Hours in Grueling Endurance Event
After a grueling 71 hours of uphill skiing, one man at the Last Skier Standing Event in Black Mountain of Maine was crowned the victor.
Lukas Janulaitis, a 23-year-old from Manchester, New Hampshire, was the winner. According to a social media post from the event’s organizers — White Mountain Ski Company — he’d traveled 80,000 feet uphill over about three days.
