Highly-Anticipated Mt. Hood Gondola Project Canceled

The dreams of a gondola at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, Oregon, have been squashed.
When Timberline purchased Summit Ski Area in 2018, they revealed intentions to build a gondola or lift to take skiers from Summit's base, off U.S. 26 in Government Camp, up to Timberline Lodge.Timberline released plans and a rendering of the proposed gondola in 2019, with hopes of breaking ground within 5 to 10 years. Their 2022 Master Development Plan was also centered on building a new lift structure.However,
