Filmmakers File Lawsuit Over "Unconstitutional" Park Permits
Outdoor sports documentarians Alexander Rienzie and Connor Burkesmith have filed a lawsuit against the hopes of changing a National Parks Service (NPS) permit-and-fee system their legal team calls “onerous, arbitrary, and unconstitutional.”Under current law, the NPS requires that commercial projects obtain a permit before filming in a national park.
