Epic Early Season Snowfall Transforms Valle Nevado

Considered by some metrics to be the largest ski resort in South America, Valle Nevado (Snowy Valley), Chile has started their Winter '24 season off with a bang.The resort is reporting that an astounding 64 inches (163cm) of snow has fallen in the last seven days. This brings their seasonal total to 135 inches (344cm) -- more than half of their annual average of 240 inches (609cm).
