Earth Day Has Failed
After witnessing a massive oil spill in Santa Barbara in 1969, Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson began hatching the idea for what would become known as the world's first 'Earth Day.'The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970.
