Despite 475 Inches of Snow, Jay Peak’s Season Is Almost Over

Jay Peak, known for being Vermont's snowiest ski area, is almost ready to wrap up one of its "most epic" seasons in history, but not without one final weekend of skiing and riding.Jay announced today, May 5, 2025 that it will attempt to reopen on Friday, May 9, conditions and weather permitting. "After a wild, wonderful, and very snowy run, we are temporarily closed for midweek operations. We're pushing for a Friday reopen, conditions permitting, but we’ll see how things go," writes Jay in
