Colorado Ski Resorts Refreshed by Cold Blast of Winter

The northern hemisphere has officially entered what's known in meteorology lore as Third Winter. A storm just dropped 12" inches of Champagne Powder on Steamboat Resort overnight and into this morning, April 2, 2025. Across the state, totals were between 5-15" with more snow on the way Wednesday night into Thursday night.
A third storm is also forecasted from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening meaning there should be fresh turns all week and its definitely not time to put the powder skis
