Colorado Resort Issues First 'Snow Alert' Of The Season

If it was a drill earlier, it certainly isn't anymore: Vail Mountain, Colorado, issued its first "snow alert" of the season yesterday, October 13th.What is a "snow alert," you ask? Basically, it boils down to the Coloradan resort announcing that a metric boatload of snow has arrived.
