Yesterday, August 30th, Hotham Alpine Resort, Australia, announced the closure of the Heavenly Valley chairlift, citing warm temperatures and a lack of snow.The August 30th Facebook announcement is shared below.From the post:"After 68 days and countless hours of grooming and snowmaking operations, we will be closing Heavenly Valley for the season. With warm temps and rain, we can no longer safely keep it spinning. Snow currently on the slopes in this area will be pushed down to Slalom Gully to e
