Are RFID Gates at Ski Resorts a Nuisance?

Not to state the obvious, but Reddit is full of polarizing opinions about  anything you can think of. Today's gripe comes from Reddit user bbrk9845 in r/skiing (duh), about RFID gates at ski area chairlifts. "The most annoying thing with Ikon resorts coming from Epic is these dumb RFID Gates.
