Baker Ski Area is often characterized by things like its epic annual snowfall (641 inches a year!), complex terrain, and stunning views, all of which make it a worthy stop or destination on its own. Although pieces of the mountain’s history are widely known, Mt. Baker is far less often known for its roots in the history of snowsports.
