Steelers sign a familiar face at RB onto the practice squad approaching Week 1

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed running back Aaron Shampklin to their practice squad, the team announced Wednesday.Shampklin was originally waived at the roster-cut deadline after signing a reserve/future contract with the team to close out the 2023 season. However, an injury to practice squad RB Boston Scott, now placed on the Practice Squad/Injured List, created an opening on the practice squad.
