Sources: Vikings TE Smith likely to miss season

Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. underwent surgery to repair his meniscus Wednesday morning and is likely to miss the season based on the 4-5 month recovery timetable, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
