Source: Chargers' Verrett suffers torn Achilles

Tests confirmed that Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett tore his Achilles on Friday and will be out for the season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Verrett missed most of the past two seasons after an ACL injury.
