Boone swats closer question after Holmes loses

New York veteran Clay Holmes, a two-time All-Star, blew his major league-leading 11th save on Tuesday night, allowing a grand slam to Texas rookie Wyatt Langford in a 7-4 Rangers' victory that dropped the Yankees out of first place in the AL East.
