UFC Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk Suffers “Badly Broken Thumb,” May Require Surgery

It looks like yet another UFC Champion may need an operation that will keep them on the sidelines until the end of the year at the earliest.The undefeated UFC Women's Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, fresh off of her dominant TKO victory over Jessica Penne at UFC Fight Night 69 this past weekend, reportedly suffered a "badly broken right thumb," an injury that very well could require surgery.Jedrzejczyk's co-manager -- Shu Hirata -- broke the news during her appearance on "The MMA Hour"
