Machida vs. Anders draws 839,000 viewers, but has strong prelim numbers

Saturday’s UFC show from Belem, Brazil, headlined by Lyoto Machida’s five-round decision win over Eryk Anders drew 839,000 viewers on FS 1.
The numbers were down from last year’s average for FS 1 shows of 965,000 viewers, but along the lines or better of what would be expected for a show with the show’s star power level. The first FS 1 Fight Night of the year, with Jeremy Stephens vs. Doo Ho Choi in the main event, did 1,285,000 viewers, the best FS 1 Fight Night number
