Judges, referee selected for inaugural UFC women’s flyweight title fight

One of the game’s most veteran referees will preside over another slice of history on Dec. 1, as “Big” John McCarthy has been chosen to oversee the UFC’s inaugural women’s flyweight title fight at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) on Wednesday unanimously selected McCarthy to referee the championship bout.
The NAC also appointed veteran judges Derek Cleary, Jeff Mullin, and Junichiro Kamijo to oversee the contest.
