Alexis Dufresne Released From UFC

Following Tuesday's house cleaning, where five fighters were cut from the UFC roster, another competitor has been released from the promotion.

Alexis Dufresne (5-2), a 25-year old Women's MMA Bantamweight prospect, has been officially released from the UFC after a one-sided loss to Marion Reneau at UFC 182 and a history of failing to make weight on multiple occasions.

Dufresne signed with the promotion after demolishing Kim Couture in just 45 seconds in a 150-pound fight in Mexico.
